Northfield, MN (PRWEB) January 27, 2012

All Flex Flexible Circuits announces the addition of an online design course, “Designing Flexible Circuits”, authored by John Michael Pierobon, an electronics industry expert and writer who has also taught numerous technical courses throughout the world.

All Flex is sponsoring this on-line course for the design and engineering community as a means to increase knowledge regarding the proper use of flexible circuit technology. The course material is divided into several chapters of solid technical information about flexible circuit materials, constructions and design layout conventions. It allows prospective customers, designers, or engineers an opportunity to self-educate about flexible circuits.

“Flexible circuits have many design and material nuances vs. our rigid board friends, and this is an easy way to help others understand how and when to utilize the technology. We are confident the content offers the novice a good starting point, but also provides a reference resource for an experienced designer,” says Dave Becker, All Flex V.P. of Sales and Marketing

Becker believes a more educated design community will provoke the engineering creativity often seen through the adoption of this 3D electronic interconnection. The course is a useful and free way to learn more about our product technology. To learn more visit: http://www.allflexinc.com

Lateral Data Unveils Predictive Tagging

Lateral Data Unveils Predictive Tagging

Viewpoint All-in-One E-Discovery Platform

Houston, TX (PRWEB) January 27, 2012

E-Discovery technology leader Lateral Data, LP today announced the launch of Viewpoint Assisted Review as a module in its Viewpoint all-in-one e-Discovery platform. Viewpoint Assisted Review delivers full predictive tagging functionality, allowing for automated review, prioritization of review and machine-assisted quality control of attorney review. Viewpoint Assisted Review is included with every Viewpoint Enterprise Subscription.

Viewpoint is an all-inclusive e-Discovery platform that covers the core components of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, including Collection, Early Case Assessment, Processing, Analysis, Review and Production. By fully integrating all of these tools into one product, Viewpoint delivers complete functionality, streamlined workflow, robust features and analytics to all users throughout the project.

As part of Viewpoint’s all-in-one platform, Viewpoint Assisted Review delivers some distinct advantages, including:

    No additional cost
    Complete integration
No additional training or installation required
Built-in analytical tools build the most efficient “seed” set in the industry
Viewpoint Assisted Review can be used with traditional culling to ensure the lowest possible quantity of documents are reviewed
    Integrated Early Case Assessment (ECA)
    Improved quality control

“Review remains the most expensive phase of discovery, and today’s data quantities are so great that pure linear review is really no longer sustainable,” said Dean Kuhlmann, VP of Business Development at Lateral Data. “Machine-assisted review is the only way. Viewpoint Assisted Review is designed to help legal teams complete review projects on time and on budget.”

Legal teams can use Viewpoint Assisted Review in a variety of ways, including automated review. Users may also reduce time and cost by separating out “likely non-responsive” documents and prioritizing the review of likely responsive document to save time and cost and using. Defensibility can also be improved by using the technology to check the quality of attorney review. “Viewpoint Assisted Review allows legal teams to gain the best of both human and machine-assisted review,” added Kuhlmann.

Viewpoint Assisted Review is available for demonstration at Lateral Data’s booth 1510 at LegalTech New York 2012 or via a live webcast. Please visit http://www.lateraldata.com or call (713) 592-8585 for more information.
