Reconfigure computers in short order

-- Test & Measurement World, 3/9/2007 5:50:00 AM

Configuration Manager from EdenTree Technologies lets you quickly configure
a computer or server for different test applications or even operating
systems. It's a simple concept that can save many hours of reloading
applications or operating systems (Linux, Windows, or Unix) when you need to
test hardware or software.

With Configuration Manager, you store images of PC or server hard drives on
a storage-area network (SAN), then you load drive images as needed. Thus,
you can store multiple setups and reload them. Typical setup time is between
15 minutes and one hour. That beats the alternative of formatting a hard
drive and loading operating systems and applications every time.

Prices range from $1000 to $5000 per system. EdenTree Technologies,
